About Régnard Chablis Saint Pierre

In the northernmost part of Burgundy (France), the white wines of Chablis deserve a special mention. One of the most representative wineries, Régnard is one of the few that still has facilities in the historic centre of the town of Chablis, and is therefore considered one of the oldest in the region. Founded in 1860 by Zéphyr Régnard, this house offers a complete and varied range of quality wines. A fantastic diversity that grew even more when Baron Patrick de Laudocette took over. Known for his famous Pouilly Fumé de Laudocette in the Loire Valley, his work in Chablis is equally exceptional, carrying and enhancing the style and typicity of Régnard wines.

Among their wide range, Régnard Chablis Saint Pierre is a real example of the great potential of white wines from the AOC Chablis. It is made from Chardonnay vines, the region’s leading grape variety that is planted in Kimmeridgian soil (carbonate rocks from the Late Jurassic). Traditional agriculture is practiced with manual harvesting. In the winery, after a careful selection and destemming, the grapes are gently pressed and the resulting must undergoes alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in stainless steel tanks at a regulated temperature.

Made with the most professional craftsmanship, Régnard Chablis Saint Pierre showcases the true potential of a terroir without the need for wood or other additives. A wine full of freshness, minerality and finesse that will linger on the palate.

2020

Régnard Chablis Saint Pierre 2020 is a white wine. The nose is sweet and ripe, with tropical fruits and grapefruit. The palate is oily and fresh, with soft acidity. Fruity notes.

Régnard Chablis Saint Pierre 2019 is an elegantly crafted white wine, boasting fresh aromas of white fruit, hints of butter, and distinctive mineral accents. On the palate, it reveals a splendid structure and a harmonious balance between fruitiness and acidity. This well-rounded wine offers a sumptuously smooth mouthfeel, culminating in a revitalizing mineral finish.
