About Señorío de P. Peciña Blanco Cosecha

Señorío de P. Peciña Blanco Cosecha is a young white wine made with the Viura variety by Hermanos Peciña in the D.O.Ca. Rioja(Spain).

In 1992, having spent almost 20 years working for other wineries in the area, Pedro Peciña decided to set up his own wine company, Hermanos Peciña, in the town of Vicente de la Sonsierra, in the heart of Rioja Alta. He started with a small space in the town centre and then moved to an innovative facility with the capacity to age up to 500,000 bottles.

With 50 hectares of their own, all the vines grow in plots around the winery. The Señorio de P. Peciña Blanco Cosecha vines are planted in clay-calcareous soils and at an altitude of between 475 and 600 metres above sea level. The grapes are carefully selected and harvested manually in 15 kg boxes.

When the Señorío de P. Peciña Blanco Cosecha grapes reach the winery, they are meticulously sorted on the selection table. They are then cold macerated for one day and fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts at a controlled temperature.

Señorio de P. Peciña Blanco Cosecha is a fresh, young and tasty white wine that showcases all the qualities of the Viura variety in all its D.O.Ca. Rioja splendour.

As one brings their nose closer to the glass, a bouquet of fresh and enchanting floral aromas unfolds, featuring notes of rose petals, intertwined with hints of delicate herbs. The citrus spectrum is pronounced, with nods to lime and lemon, while white fruits, such as apples and pears, complete this delicate and appealing bouquet.
