About Shaya Habis

Shaya Habis is a red wine produced from the winery Shaya in the D.O Rueda. The winery is located in the town of Aldeanueva de Codonal (Segovia).

Shaya Habis is 100% produced from the varietal Verdejo. The grapes originate from very old rare yielding vines. Planted in sandy loam soils.

For its production, the fermentation process is carried out in 500-600 litre barrels for 20 days. In the same barrels the wine is aged on its lees for 8 months.

Shaya Habis 2021 unfurls a spectrum of aromas with prominent peach and green apple notes interwoven with a hint of citrus. On the palate, its creamy texture melds harmoniously with a fresh and vibrant acidity, bestowing a full and agreeable presence. This white wine emerges as a refreshing and moderately aromatic choice, beckoning one to relish its youthful fruitiness.
2019 Shaya Habis 2019 is a white wine that on the nose presents a bouquet of citrus aromas, white flowers, and ripe pineapple, complemented by an exquisite mineral undertone and subtle toasted and spicy notes. Its palate is flavorful and vivacious, showcasing a pronounced fruit intensity alongside a precise and delightful acidity. A complex white wine with an extensive finish, it reveals a nuanced bitterness, mineral essence, and a smoky hint.
2011 Fresh and tasty. Passing is unctuous and wide with an abundance of fruity and herbal sensations. Good acidity. Long finish and somewhat bitter.

Straw yellow with greenish hues. Clean and bright.

Large aromatic intensity with a predominance of white and green fruit combined with floral and herbal notes.
