About Trénel Coteaux Bourguignons

Trénel Coteaux Bourguignons is a single-variety Gamay red wine made by the Trenel winery in the AOC Coteaux-Bourguignons in Burgundy, France.

 

Trénel Coteaux Bourguignons   is made with grapes that come from 55-year-old vines growing in soil where a sedimentary deposit of clay and limestone has formed. When the grapes reach the winery, they macerate whole for 8 to 10 days (carbonic maceration). They are then pressed to continue with alcoholic fermentation. Finally the resulting wine is bottled unfiltered.

 

Trénel Coteaux Bourguignons is a versatile, juicy and easy-to-drink red wine that is great value for money and a great way to discover one of the regions where the Gamay variety expresses itself in all its splendour.
