About Tridente Tempranillo

Tridente Tempranillo is a red wine from the VT Castilla-Léon produced by the winery Tridente, belonging to the group Juan Gil Bodegas Familiares.

The Tridente Tempranillo wine shows us that power isn’t the opposite of elegance. An intense, complex and very fruity red wine, born in very old vineyards in the province of Zamora (Castilla y León) and aged for 15 months in French oak barrels, resulting in a mature red wine, with round tannins and a long and tasty aftertaste.

Tridente Tempranillo is 100% produced from the varietal, Tempranillo. The grapes originate from very old vines, 100 years old; located in the zones of Villanueva de Campeán and El Pego (Zamora)

For its production, the wine is fermented and macerated in stainless steel containers for 20-25 days at a temperature of 25º.

The winemaking of Tridente Tempranillo is aged for 15 months in French oak barrels.

Tridente Tempranillo 2020 unfolds a spectrum of aromas with ripe fruit such as plums and cherries taking center stage, interwoven with hints of vanilla and black pepper, a courtesy of its maturation in oak barrels. On the palate, it is robust, with a firm structure that culminates in a prolonged and gratifying finish. This red wine is a true representation of the Tempranillo grape, delivering an intense and nuanced tasting experience.

Tridente Tempranillo 2019 is a red wine that on the nose presents a bouquet reminiscent of ripe red and black fruits, complemented by spicy undertones and hints of cocoa. On the palate, it moves with vigor and strength, leaving behind delightful fruity flavors with strokes of chocolate. This is a full-bodied and complex red wine, endowed with smooth tannins and a lengthy, flavorsome finish.
2013 Smooth, fruity and pleasant. Tasty with a presence of ripe black fruit. Round tannins and well balanced. A persistent finish.

Cherry red with garnet reflections.

2009 This wine is strong, broad and embracing at the attack. A red wine with a long, well-bodied and bulky mid palate with notes of fruit, nearly as sweet as jam, along with aromas of coffee, chocolate, vanilla,... Sweet wine with round tannins and a long finish that leaves a very pleasant sensation.
