About Txomin Etxaniz Rosado

Txomin Etxaniz Rosado is a rosé wine from D.O. Getariako-Txakolina produced by the winery Txomin Etxaniz. This wine is a coupage of the varieties Hondarrabi Beltza (60%) and Zuri (40%).
The grapes used by Txomin Etxaniz Rosado come from its 35 hectares of vineyard located on slopes located in Getaria. The harvest of the grapes is carried out entirely manually in early October.

Once they arrive at the winery, the Txomin Etxaniz Rosado grapes macerate for eight to ten hours.
Then, a light pressing is carried out, thus obtaining the aromatic intensity of this wine.
Lastly, Txomin Etxaniz Rosado ferments at a controlled temperature and rests on its lees before it is bottled.
The Txomin Etxaniz winery is located in the village of Getaria. The family’s relationship with the world of wine goes back to 1649.
The creation of D.O. Txakolina in 1989, it was largely led by this same winery.
