About Valderiz Sitio de Valdehermoso

  Valderiz Sitio de Valdehermoso   is a red wine from the D.O. Ribera del Duero produced by the Valderiz winery. This wine is made using only the Tinta del País grapes.  

The grapes used come from the Valdehermoso estate, which forms part of the 70 hectares of vineyards that the winery oversees. The estate is situated at 825 metres above sea level and of the production and winemaking processes take place in stainless steel tanks with a 20,000kg capacities.

Before the final bottling,   Valderiz Sitio de Valdehermoso   is aged for a 9 months in oak barrels (20% American 80% French).

The end result is a red wine with character that invites you to continue drinking.

Valderiz is a project led by Stephen Thomas, who comes from a family with proud heritage in the wine sector. The wines from this winery are an example of the work that the D.O Ribera del Duero is able to produce.
