About Vallegarcía Syrah

Vallegarcía Syrah is a red wine from V.T Castilla produced by Pago de Vallegarcía, this forms part of the association of Grandes Pagos de España (GPE).

The grapes that use Vallegarcía Syrah, originate from seven hectares from the same winery.
Vallegarcía Syrah is placed through a pre-fermentative maceration process at a controlled temperature for 3 days at 10°C.

The must of Vallegarcía Syrah is fermented and macerated for 21 days. During this period, various remontages (pump overs) are conducted.

Vallegarcía Syrah is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels and later rests for another year in the bottle before being put on the market.

2022

Vallegarcía Syrah 2022 emerges as a red wine of significant character, distinguished by the intensity of a warm and dry vintage. Its nose, less defined in terms of varietal characteristics, unfolds a complexity that invites leisurely exploration. On the palate, it is noted for its robust and mature structure, with present and slightly textured tannins that impart body. The time spent in the bottle has smoothed its edges, endowing it with a harmony that elevates it even further.
2011 On the palate, a wide and fruity flavour. Elegant and long lasting flavours, very good acidity.

Intense cherry. Presents itself as clean, deep and bright.

Touches of ripened red fuits and flowers. Good balance between the sweet tones and the creaminess.

2006 This wine fills the mouth at the attack with kind and fleshy notes of fruit and good toasted aromas. It has a silky, fresh and tasty and even sweety attack. It shows spicy and creamy notes and a good acidity. Well-integrated tannins and a long and persistent finish. An elegant, delicate and easy-drinking wine. Perfect to discover the Syrah.

Intense dark cherry colour with maroon edges. Very bright wine with dense tears.

Intense and well balanced aromas with notes of ripe red fruit already felt on first nosing and well blended with creamy flavours provided by the oak (toffee, vanilla, pastry). When swirling the glass, the aromas of undergrowth and its mineral, chocolate and balsamic touches are released along with the notes of fruit.
2005 Structure with a fresh and tasty with nice tannins that produce a pleasant way. Is long and persistent.

Cherry color, well covered.

Aromas of red fruits, with caramel touch from the barrel itself.
