About Verd Albera Blanc

Verd Albera Blanc is a white wine from Empordà prepared by Celler Marti Fabra. This wine was made from grapes of Garnacha Blanca (70%), Muscat (20%) and Chardonnay (10%).

The Verd Albera Blanc grapes come from vineyards owned by the winery, cultivated following ecological principles. The grapes, once in the cellar, go through a process of maceration.

The wort of Verd Albera Blanc is then decanted in order to remove any impurities.

Verd Albera Blanc then undergoes a fermentation in concrete vats with its lees to preserve its characteristics. It rests in these same deposits for a short time before being bottled.

Celler Martí Fabra is located in a farmhouse from the XII century in which several generations have made wine.

2017 Verd Albera Blanc 2017 is a full, elegant and unctuous white wine. This vintage stands out for its fruity load, with aromas of ripe white fruit, and with citrus notes. On the palate it is voluminous, dry and lingering.
2014 It is fresh and light. Citrus with something unctuous and persistent.

Pale yellow with green hues, clean and bright.

Good intensity, showing notes of citrus and white fruit aromas. Fresh and soft notes.
2013 Broad, fresh and very expressive on the palate. Very persistent.

A straw yellow colour with greenish reflections.

Powerful aromas of tropical fruit combine nicely with spices and fine herbs.
2010 This white wine made by Marti Fabra surprises by its freshness and by its sweet character at the same time. It has a wide, voluminous and unctuous mid palate. Its intense notes of fruit and its creamy aromas are released along with a touch of herbs, which together with this wine's great acidity, result in a very balanced and very fresh palate. Its long elegant finish leaves mineral sensations.

Intense straw yellow colour with greenish reflections. Clean and bright.

Its intense floral aromas are felt along with its abundant notes of ripe fruit, among which the refreshing tropical fruit and citrus stand out. All these aromas are perfectly balanced with its abundant herbal notes and its subtle hints of creamy spices.
2009 Wine with a notable citrus acidity. It appears all that we have detected in the nose. Powerful, with a touch of mineral and bitter. Remarkable persistence. Extensive and fresh wine.

Complex nose. Many tropical fruit (pineapple, mango, peach) with a touch of herbs and minerals.
2008 In mouth is very powerful, full, tasty.

Straw-colored, greenish edge.

Candied fruit aroma, fragrance notes of pear, orange blossom and citrus hints with some spices.
