Red wine Young Respectful agriculture.

Viña Do Avó Tinto 2019 dazzles with its brilliant ruby-red hue and reddish glints. Bringing the nose to the wine, one encounters intense floral notes mingling with aromas of fresh red fruits, such as strawberries and cherries, accompanied by a gentle balsamic and herbaceous touch. Upon tasting, it offers delightful freshness with well-balanced acidity, rendering it light and exceedingly pleasant to drink. Its low alcohol content makes it an ideal choice for uncomplicated enjoyment. The finish is fruity and slightly herbaceous, leaving a gratifying sensation. This vintage is particularly approachable and refreshing.

About Viña Do Avó Tinto

Viña Do Avó Tinto is a red wine from the D.O Ribeiro produced by Adegas Antonio Cajide.

This winery is located in Ribadavia (Ourense) and was founded with the intention of establishing an alternative to the large wine producers, attempting to recover old vineyards and use local grape varieties.

Viña Do Avó Tinto "grandfather's vineyard" is produced from local varieties from Galicia Caiño, Sousón and Brencellao and the varieties Mencía and Grenache.

The young vines are planted in a 6ha field between 100 to 300m above sea level, soils are slate and granite.

No dangerous products like pesticides or herbicides are used to treat the vines.

For production all the varieties are fermented together at a controlled temperature.
