About Viña Zorzal Tempranillo

Viña Zorzal Tempranillo is a red wine crafted by Bodegas Zorzal in Corella, within the DO Navarra.

Bodegas Zorzal was established in 1989 with the objective of reviving indigenous varieties of the region and with the philosophy that wine is born from the vineyard. They currently own 40 hectares situated near the town of Fitero, where the gentle terrain forms a small oasis amidst all the vineyards in the lower Ebro valley, thus providing an added freshness. Of these, 25 hectares are planted with Garnacha, and the remainder with Graciano and Tempranillo, along with white varieties such as Garnacha Blanca.

Viña Zorzal Tempranillo is a wine produced from 100% Tempranillo from a vineyard located in the municipality of Fitero, with yields below 4000 kg/hectare. Once harvested, it undergoes a cold pre-fermentation maceration. It ferments with indigenous yeasts in stainless steel tanks with gentle extraction.
