It might seem that discussing tradition is to speak of the past, yet for the Eguren family, with over 150 years of history, tradition is both present and, above all, future. Four generations have upheld a steadfast principle in each of their ventures: the vineyard is the source of everything.

To begin with, Sierra Cantabria is proof that the essence of village wine remains alive, with absolute respect for the legacy of their ancestors and the privileged environment in which their vines flourish. Then, Señorío de San Vicente embodies a clear and powerful philosophy: one vineyard, one winery, one wine. And, as if that weren't enough, higher up, on the slopes of the Sierra Cantabria, lies Viñedos de Páganos, where the terroir expresses itself with astonishing purity across its 45 hectares of vineyard, giving life to wines that are elegant, refined, and possess profound minerality.

It is in this latter project that the Eguren brothers demonstrate one of their greatest virtues: patience. Viñedos de Páganos El Puntido Gran Reserva is the result of a careful and respectful wait, a craftsmanship that pays homage to the land. With integrated viticulture, free from herbicides and systemic products and with minimal intervention, they allow nature to speak for itself.

Crafted using traditional methods and 100% destemmed, Viñedos de Páganos El Puntido Gran Reserva has undergone malolactic fermentation in the barrel and aged for no less than 28 months in new French oak barrels, developing a unique complexity and depth.

The result is Viñedos de Páganos El Puntido Gran Reserva, a wine that is not merely consumed but felt. It is the reflection of the vineyard, of time, and of the passion of those who have been tending the land as their greatest treasure for over a century.
