About Albariño de Fefiñanes

Albariño de Fefiñanes is a white wine from Rias Baixas produced by Bodega del Palacio de Fefiñanes. This wine is a varietal Albariño.

The first vintage of this wine was made in 1928. Bodega del Palacio de Fefiñanes has been linked to wine since the seventeenth century and is a pioneer in the development and marketing of the Albariño grape variety.
 

Albariño grapes come from the Salnés Valley, an area of great tradition that has special features and give the grapes great quality.

The soils in which the vineyards grow are granite. During the harvest, a first selection of the grains occurs in the field.
 

Once in the winery, Albariño de Fefiñanes undergoes a fermentation in steel tanks. Albariño de Fefiñanes is an elegant and very fresh wine.

Straw yellow with green hues.

Fine and delicate, subtle aromas. Notes of fennel and herbs, dairy touches, fruit, citrus and floral notes.
2011 White wine from the Rias Baixas with a strong varietal character. Very fresh, intense wine with a slightly unctuous mid palate. The aromas felt in the nose return with a higher and more noticeable minerality. Excellent and very marked acidity and a persistent and nice saline aftertaste.
