About Aloers

Celler Credo is the organic and biodynamic wine project of the Recaredo family for the Penedès Designation of Origin.

In recent years, Celler Credo has established itself as one of the leading wineries in Penedès specializing only in autochthonous varieties and a firm commitment to the implementation of programmes aimed at preserving the ecosystem. Its range of varietal wines from xarel·lo, as well as the collection of biodiversity wines (Ratpenat-Macabeo, Volaina-Parellada and Mirabelles-Malvasía de Sitges) have earned the admiration of critics both national and international, with consolidation in demanding markets such as Japan, Canada, the United States and the Nordic countries. 

Aloers offers the freshest, most genuine expression of the Mediterranean xarel·lo grown on calcareous soils. Celler Credo’s team wants to ensure a wine of great vivacity that can have a long life in the bottle. All Celler Credo grapes are harvested by hand to ensure a precise selection of the fruit and to guarantee its excellent quality. Furthermore, Celler Credo takes great care over grape ripening with the aim of producing wines with natural, fresh acidity.

Aloers is made by allowing the must to macerate for a few hours with the grape stems and skins. Celler Credo’s wines ferment always on indigenous yeast isolated from Celler Credo’s vineyards, an essential element for producing truly terroir wines. With the aim of giving structure and finesse to the wine, lees are stirred for approximately one month. Then, the wine remains in stainless steel tank for 6 months on the fine lees.

Aloers seeks to give the fullest possible expression to the terroir and may have completely natural sediments due to a minimal intervention. This wine is vinified and bottled on the property.

2020

Aloers 2020 is a vibrant white wine that encapsulates the purity of xarel·lo in its fullest expression. On the nose, it unfolds a complex symphony of yellow flowers, Mediterranean herbs, and delicate mineral nuances. Its palate is creamy and elegant, with a precise acidity that imparts freshness and tension. The unctuous texture melds with a subtle saline finish, leaving an impression of vivacity and authenticity that beckons further exploration.
2019 Aloers 2019 is a vibrant white wine. On the nose, it is complex, boasting floral and vegetal aromas. On the palate, it presents a creamy texture and is exquisitely elegant. A precise wine, characterized by its remarkable vivacity and extensive finish.
2018 Aloers 2018 is a profiled white wine with delicious aromas of yellow flowers, Mediterranean plants and mineral touches. On the palate it is unctuous and elegant with quite a salty finish.
2017 Aloers 2017 is a profiled, expressive and elegant white wine. This vintage highlights the aromas of ripe Mediterranean white fruit, notes of white flowers and a citrus touch. In the mouth, it is direct, with a long and fresh finish.
2014 Fresh and pleasant. Passing is creamy and unctuous with citrus and herbal flavours. Good acidity. Elegant and structured.

Straw yellow with Golden reflections.

Large intensity, with primary aromas of citrus fruit mixed with herbal and mineral touches. Somewhat salty base.
2013 Sublime approach and mouthfeel. Well-structured with abundant freshness. An exceedingly intriguing wine.

Straw yellow with a steely edge.

Distinctly varietal character. Ripe citrus bursts forth initially, intermingled with herbaceous and creamy undertones. Mineral and saline notes provide a harmonious balance.
2010 This wine is broad and intense at the attack and has an intense, soft, fresh and tasty mid palate. The expressive notes of fruit of this unctuous wine are wrapped with light creamy aromas. Excellent acidity and a long and persistent finish. Well balanced and elegant wine.

Nice straw yellow colour with golden reflections. Clean and bright wine.

Its intense and elegant aromas are subtle on first nosing and slowly gain in intensity. Its scented notes of fruit and white flowers are released along with light touches of herbs, some seductive spice hints and subtle yeast notes on a light mineral background.
