About Alta Vista Terroir Selection Malbec

Alta Vista Terroir Selection Malbec is a wine that perfectly represents the expression of Argentine terroirs. It is made by Alta Vista with the Malbec variety in Mendoza (Argentina).

Located south of the city of Mendoza, Alta Vista is owned by the D’Aulan family, a prestigious winemaking family with wineries in other areas like Bordeaux and Budapest, who decided to venture to Argentina in 1998.

Alta Vista Terroir Selection Malbec comes from a selection of five different terroirs. These are Malbec vines cultivated using environmentally friendly agriculture to maintain the natural balance of the terroir. The harvest is carried out manually in small 17 kg boxes.

In the winery, Alta Vista Selection Malbec is vinified at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks with intensive pump-overs to obtain soft tannins. The coupage is created with different proportions depending on the vintage and finally the wine ages in new oak barrels for 12 months.
