About Alvear Palacio Quemado Reserva

Palacio Quemado Reserva is a red wine from the D.O Ribera del Guadiana produced by Bodegas Palacio Quemado. This is a monovarietal of Tempranillo.

The grape for Palacio Quemado Reserva originates from old vines from their own estate: Palacio Quemado. The region has a warm summer and very gentle winters.

The harvest is performed when the grapes reach full maturity, the beginning of September.

After arriving at the winery, Palacio Quemado Reserva receives a long and careful maceration.

Palacio Quemado Reserva remains for 16 months in French (70%) and American (30%) oak barrels.

Bodega Palacio Quemado was created by Bodeagas Alvear and the Losada Serra family in 1999 in Extramadura. The winery produces three different products that little by little have been making a name for themselves on the Spanish wine scene.

Intense and bright cherry red. Full bodied.

Pleasant touches of ripe fruit, aromas of tabaco and roasted wood undertones.
