About Vol d'Ànima de Raimat Negre Eco

Vol d'Ànima de Raimat Negre Eco is a young red wine produced by the Raimat winery in Costers del Segre. Ànima de Raimat Tinto is a blend consisting of Cabernet Sauvignon, Tempranillo and Syrah.
 

The grapes come from the Raimat estate, where sustainable viticulture, certified by the Catalan Council for Integrated Production, is practiced.

It has a continental climate with Mediterranean influence. A climate with very dry summers during the ripening season, and large temperature contrasts that translate into great aromatic concentration in the grapes.

The harvest is done at night, when the temperature is lower, to preserve all the primary aromas of the grapes.

Once in the winery, the grapes are cooled down to 15°C. For fermentation, the grapes are divided into two parts. The winery is looking for a fresh profile wine and fruity grape, by maintaining low temperatures for 24-48 hours and performing fermentation at 25 ° C.

The rest of the grapes are fermented at a higher temperature seeking greater texture and complexity to the wine.

Once fermentation is complete, the final blend of the two parts is performed, thus giving rise to this Vol d'Ànima de Raimat Negre Eco.

Vol d'Ànima de Raimat Negre Eco 2022 is a red wine that unveils an enchanting aromatic profile, where blackcurrant, cherries, and pomegranate intertwine with subtle balsamic nuances and delicate violets. On the palate, it offers a welcoming entry, with a slight sweetness imparted by the toasted oak, enhancing the ripe fruit. Its structure is well-balanced, with silky yet characterful tannins. Hints of liquorice, forest fruits, and spicy notes accompany a long and enveloping finish.

Vol d'Ànima de Raimat Negre Eco 2021 is a youthful red wine that beckons you to explore its intricate yet approachable character. As you draw near, it envelops you with the scents of dark fruits such as blackberries and plums, followed by a nuanced hint of spices like pepper and nutmeg. Subtly, balsamic notes weave through, interspersed with glimmers of cocoa and mocha. On the palate, its introduction is sweet and engaging, with an echo of fruits and a toasted undertone. The tannins are soft and sweet, imparting strength and structure. Its finish is extensive and enduring, leaving a sensation that is fluid and harmonious.
2020 Vol d'Ànima de Raimat Negre Eco 2020 is a red wine with intense fruit aromas (cherries, pomegranates) on the nose accompanied by notes of liquorice, coconut and balsamic and floral nuances. Very pleasant, powerful on the palate, but with sweet tannins. A long and persistent, easy to drink red wine.
