Bringing it to the nose reveals delicate aromas of white fruits such as peach and apricot, accompanied by a subtle hint of minerality, along with earthy notes reminiscent of a countryside stroll. On the palate, it surprises with its silky texture and a flavour that fills the mouth with smoothness and persistence. About Bernabeleva Camino de Navaherreros Blanco

The name Bernabeleva is no accident; it literally means "where the bear lives." And it is not just any bear, but a nod to the power of nature and the history of the forests that once inhabited the Sierra de Gredos in Madrid. Therefore, the winery's logo combines the goddess of the hunt, protector of those ancient forests, with the figure of the bear, a symbol of strength and freedom. Today, those same granite soils at an altitude of around 700 metres host 35 hectares of old vineyards, cultivated with care and respect, producing wines with extraordinary minerality and freshness.

Among the wines of Bernabeleva, Camino de Navaherreros Blanco stands out as the gateway to the world of this Madrid winery, nestled in San Martín de Valdeiglesias at the foot of the Sierra de Gredos. This wine embodies the essence of a Vino de Pueblo: tradition, authenticity, and respect for the land.

The star is the albillo real, a local white variety about 70-80 years old, planted on granite soil. It macerates for approximately 24 hours and ferments in 500 and 1,500-litre barrels, with 9 months of ageing on lees. Complementing it is the macabeo, which macerates for 48 hours and ferments in oval 2,500-litre tanks, with 10 months of ageing on its lees. Finally, they are blended in an approximate ratio of 70-30, resulting in a fresh, complex, and lively wine, bottled without filtering or stabilizing.

Camino de Navaherreros Blanco is an invitation to discover the Sierra de Gredos, to traverse its granite valleys and feel the strength of the bear that continues to inhabit these lands.
