It’s always difficult to get back to routine in September, and that’s why our sommelier has given us the following wine recommendations to make the month more bearable. So, let’s go on a wine tour to hold onto that holiday feeling with a trip for your mind and your senses!

This leading Ribera del Duero wine in its new 2018 vintage is not to be missed. Every year people wait for this wine to be released, because it has become one of the most sought-after, award-winning and world renowned Spanish wines. If you’ve already tried it, you know what we’re talking about, if you haven’t tried it and you like wine, be sure to try Aalto and see what you think.

Let’s move onto Portugal and look at a Vinho Verde from Minho. A mineral Albariño with 92 Parker Points that you won’t want to miss. Elegance, aromas of exotic fruit and a persistent finish to delight those who love quality Albariño wines.

Back to Spain, this time to Castilla La Mancha, to sample a typical local Garnacha Tintorera. The 2017 vintage was awarded 93 Decántalo Points and 93 Parker Points for being a fresh, light red wine with good acidity that makes it very easy to drink by the glass or alongside cold meats or light meat dishes. Enjoy this new vintage.

Now to Italy, to the wonderful island of Sicily and a very vibrant rosé. Don’t be fooled by its looks.
