About Boig per Tu

Boig Per Tu is a red wine produced by Vinyes Domènech in the D.O. Montsant.

The winery is located in Capçanes, in the south of the Priorat region (Tarragona).

Boig Per Tu is produced from the varieties Garnacha Tinta and Cariñena. The vines are planted at 450m above sea level over 25ha of vineyards between the mountains of Llaberia and Montalt.

The vineyards are produced by organic means, also certified by the Consell Català de la producció Agrària Ecològica (CCPAE).

For production, the wine is fermented for 15 days at a temperature constantly below 29ºC. After the winemaking process, the wine is aged for 6 months in French oak barrels.

Boig Per Tu wants to be a meeting point between the wine world and that of music, hence why the wine is named after a famous song composed by the Catalan musician Pep Sala.

2020 Boig per tu 2020 is a red wine with aromas of ripe fruits (blackcurrant, blackberry) on the nose, accompanied by balsamic notes (rosemary and thyme). The palate is juicy, with round tannins and delicate saline touches. A fresh and fruity red wine that is very Mediterranean.
2013 Wide and warming. Creamy and tasty, highlights of red fruits over smooth roasted and spicy notes. Tannins are mature. Long and persistent finish.

Ruby red with purple hues.

Ripened red and black fruit aromas with an abundance of spicy and herbal notes. Fine mineral base.
