About Bollinger Brut Rosé

Bollinger Rosé is a champagne born in the heart of Aÿ, where Maison Bollinger has been crafting its wines since 1829 with the same artisanal dedication that made it legendary. Each bottle is the living testament to nearly two centuries of tradition in the Montagne de Reims, a Bollinger hallmark that remains synonymous with elegance, quality, and prestige.
 
The winery boasts 174 hectares of its own vineyards, an exceptional heritage in Champagne: 85% classified as Grand Cru and Premier Cru, and unique plots with pre-phylloxera vines—Clos Saint-Jacques and Chaudes Terres—that impart an unparalleled character.
 
Among its most prized treasures are the reserve wines, stored for years in magnums sealed with cork, organized by vintage, forming one of the most valuable reserves in the entire region.
 
Bollinger Rosé is born from a blend of pinot noir, chardonnay, and pinot meunier sourced from vineyards of the highest quality. The grapes, cultivated in clay-sandy soils with limestone, are harvested only when they reach their perfect ripeness. A portion of the wine ferments in used barrels, respecting the house's traditional vinification. After the assemblage—which includes 5-6% red wine to impart its delicate salmon hue and seductive character—the champagne rests for at least 36 months on its lees and an additional six months in the cellar after disgorgement.
