Brezo Blanco 2025 is a white wine that is clean and well-defined, with subtle aromas of white fruit, nectarine, citrus, and flowers, accompanied by a delicate hint of bay leaf. On the palate, it is balanced and flavourful, with well-integrated freshness and refined fruit that adds elegance and depth. Its passage is rounded, with good structure and a pleasant concentration that surprises, finished with a slight saline touch that adds volume and character. A serious white wine yet very easy to enjoy, one of those that persuades without raising its voice.

About Brezo Blanco

These are not easy times. In a world where opinions proliferate, getting more than two people to agree is almost an impossible mission. However, miracles do happen, as is the case with Brezo Blanco, a wine that has captivated critics and is widely regarded as an exceptional wine from cork to bottle's end. 
 
The winery Mengoba is the creator of this phenomenon, born from a blend of plots located in various parts of the DO. Bierzo: Carracedo, Valtuille, Villafranca del Bierzo, and Espanillo. Only the best of the best! The vines, with an average age of 20 years, are starting to excel and, while they cannot yet be classified as old vineyards, they are gradually revealing their potential character. Part of this achievement lies in the soils, where clays, limestones, and slates intermingle. The rest is due to the continental climate with Atlantic influences, which ultimately shapes the profile of each vintage. 
 
Brezo Blanco is harvested manually in boxes and taken to the winery, where the godello bunches are placed on a selection table where only the finest are chosen. After this crucial step, Brezo Blanco continues in a pneumatic press, where the must is extracted and transferred to stainless steel tanks to ferment with indigenous yeasts. 
 
Brezo Blanco is not just a great wine, but also a great pleasure that unites us.

On the palate, it is fresh and balanced, very fruity with a pleasant maturity. A young and vibrant white wine, exceedingly easy to drink.

Brezo Blanco 2022 emerges as a youthful and refreshing white wine that captivates with its sophistication and forthrightness. On the nose, it unfurls a spectrum of fruity aromas with white fruit and pear taking center stage, augmented by subtle floral undertones. Upon tasting, its pronounced acidity and glyceric texture forge a well-structured and harmonious body. Its fruity essence interweaves with a pleasing and crisp finish, beckoning one to indulge in sip after sip.
2013 Elegant and creamy on the palate. Fresh with a great acidity and a citrus touch, making it even fresher. Accompanied by a nice bitter touch.

A pale yellow colour with steely reflections. Clean and bright.

A very aromatic, fragrant and expressive wine. Clean aromas of white fruit stand out along with some citrus touches, floral notes and aromatic herbs.
2011 Fresh, enticing, medium-bodied, very enjoyable. Good acidity. Medium length finish with good persistence and some nice light bitter notes. Excellent value for money, and enjoyment!

Pale lemon yellow colour with a waxy rim. Clean and very bright.

This white wine has a high aromatic intensity. Fragrant and expressive, clean aromas of ripe white fruit, some citrus touches, floral notes and hints of aromatic herbs.
