Bruno Rochard Moque Souris Chenin is an organic and natural, barrel-aged white wine made by Domaine de Mirebeau with the Chenin Blanc variety in the Loire region of France.

Bruno Rochard is a prestigious French viticulturist who took on 6 hectares of vineyards in Domaine de Mirebeau and began using completely organic rather than conventional agriculture. His main focus is absolute respect for the terroir and the vines, and through this, he creates precise and expressive natural wines.

The Bruno Rochard Moque Souris Chenin wine comes from a 20-year-old vineyard planted on slate and clay soil with pebbles. It is cultivated using ecological agriculture with organic and biodynamic practices. Yield is limited to 14 hl/ha and the harvest is carried out manually in small boxes.

In the winery, the Bruno Rochard Moque Souris Chenin grapes are not destemmed and are vinified through a long spontaneous fermentation with native yeasts. The wine undergoes malolactic fermentation and ages in barrels for 12 months and 9 months in stainless steel tanks. It is bottled without filtering or adding sulphites.

Labelled as an organic wine and certified by Ecocert, Bruno Rochard Moque Souris Chenin 2017 is a perfect wine for those who love the great white wines of the Loire. An exceptional Chenin made through the delicate and precise work of Bruno Rochard.
