About Ca' Bianca Brachetto D'Acqui

Ca’ Bianca Brachetto D'Acqui is a sweet wine from the DOCG Brachetto D’Acqui made by Ca’ Bianca with the Brachetto variety.

Ca’ Bianca opened in 1950 in a small town called Alice Bel Colle in the Alessandria area (Piedmont). A privileged mountainous area where the winery has 40 hectares of vineyards. Here under the leadership of Pier Luigi Borgna, they make a wide range of modern wines designed for today’s consumers.

Ca’ Bianca Brachetto D'Acqui comes from vineyards planted at an altitude of more than 100 feet in sedimentary loam soils and pruned using the traditional Guyot method. They use respectful agriculture and always seek low yields in the vineyard. The grape is harvested manually when it reaches optimum ripeness.

In the winery, the Ca’ Bianca Brachetto D'Acqui grape is destemmed, pressed and allowed to macerate with its skins for about 36 hours. It is racked and decanted to vinify at a temperature of 15°. The fermentation process is stopped by cooling when it reaches the desired alcohol content, leaving a completely natural sugar residue.

Slightly sparkling and delicately soft, Ca’ Bianca Brachetto D’Acqui is the most exported Italian sweet wine.

2018 Ca' Bianca Brachetto D'Acqui 2018 is a sweet red wine with an olfactory profile of red fruits and rose water. The palate is appetising, fresh and pleasant.
