There is something enchanting in the art of taming the untamed. In taking what nature offers in its purest, almost wild form, and transforming it into a masterpiece of elegance and balance. This is the philosophy that guides Camille and Guillaume Boillot, and breathes life into Meursault “Les Clous”: a wine born from almost white, stony soils to become a tribute to finesse.

The story of this young winery is also that of two lineages deeply rooted in Burgundy (France). Camille, the fifth generation of winemakers in Pommard, and Guillaume, heir to the Boillot tradition, decided to write their own chapter, independent and personal. Inspired by their children, they cultivate vineyards and friendships that provide them with exceptional grapes, always working with absolute respect for the land and time.

For Camille & Guillaume Boillot Meursault "Les Clous" the Chardonnay grapes are hand-picked, cluster by cluster, with an almost artisanal care. A slow pressing in a vertical press, a subtle settling and fermentation, and ageing in used 350-litre oak barrels for 15 months preserve the purity of the fruit. With no new oak to mask its character, this Meursault exhibits precision, minerality and harmonious maturity, maintaining delicacy as its signature.

Tasting it is to enter a landscape: the white stone, the coolness of the altitude, the light reflecting on the slopes of the Côte des Blancs. It is perfect to accompany noble fish, roast poultry or even an intimate dinner where the wine takes centre stage.
