About Can Rich Blanc d'Amfora

The philosophy of Can Rich is rooted in authenticity, respect for the terroir, and a steadfast commitment to sustainability. The winery, which from its inception has championed organic viticulture, follows a clear path: to offer local products that embody the essence of the island of Ibiza. With an unwavering focus on quality, each grape, each wine, narrates a story of reverence for nature and the island's winemaking legacy.

In this regard, the line of wines crafted in amphorae represents one of Can Rich's most significant ventures. This winemaking method, which dates back to the times of the Phoenicians, is a return to the origins. The terracotta amphorae, once used by ancient civilizations to preserve wine, allow the fruit to express itself more purely, free from the influences of wood or stainless steel. The result is wines "in their purest form," where the grape's typicity shines without embellishment.

Can Rich Blanc d'Amfora is a clear embodiment of this philosophy. An organic wine, crafted from muscat grapes cultivated at Finca Can Llaudis. The vines grow on trellises, adhering to the regulations of the Consell de Agricultura Ecològica de les Illes Balears, and its vinification process respects the natural environment to the fullest. In the winery, it undergoes six months of ageing in terracotta amphorae. During this time, the wine matures slowly, allowing it to express its full freshness and authenticity.
