Cantina Orsogna is not a conventional winery: it is the soul of its community. Established in 1964 by a group of dedicated vintners, today it stands as the social heart of the municipality, a symbol of cooperation, respect for nature, and an unwavering pursuit of excellence. With over 600 members and 1,400 hectares cultivated under ecological and biodynamic principles, Cantina Orsogna not only produces wine but also safeguards the landscape, revives forgotten varieties, and collaborates with universities to innovate without harming the environment.

Among the many brands it markets, Lunaria takes its commitment to biodynamics further. Here, the farmer is the guardian of the land and its secrets, and wine is crafted with hands, soul... and without shortcuts.

An example of this endeavour is Lunaria Civitas Ancestrale Spumante. Made from pecorino grapes grown at altitudes of 450-500 metres, under a cool climate that favours slow ripening and aromatic expressiveness, this Brut Nature sparkling wine is bottle-fermented without the addition of yeasts or sugar. The result is a vegan, organic wine, unfiltered, with the lees present in the bottle, as was done in the past.
