About Celler Pardas Els Pagesos Brut Nature

There are wines that seem to be forged by the passage of time, by the silences of the countryside and the hands that tend to it. Celler Pardas Els Pagesos Brut Nature is not merely a Corpinnat sparkling wine: it is a tribute to the men and women who, over the years, have made the extraordinary possible from the essential (Els Pagesos in Catalan means "the farmers"). Its name echoes the voice of the land, and in every bubble, the murmur of a vineyard weathered by years and the elements.
 
In the heart of Penedès (Barcelona), hence the name Corpinnat, under the watchful gaze of the Titet mountain range, Celler Pardas has been cultivating history, sensitivity, and respect for nature for decades. Founded by Ramon Parera and Jordi Arnan in 1996, this project reflects an uncompromising philosophy: they only vinify what they have worked with their own hands. The Can Comas estate, their home and viticultural epicenter, is a landscape that speaks, that imparts character, and that has borne witness to every step of this profoundly human adventure.
 
Celler Pardas Els Pagesos Brut Nature originates from eight small vineyards of sumoll, a native red grape of rebellious spirit, planted in poor limestone soils and tended for over 30 years. This same indomitable character reveals itself in every glass, transformed into an honest, elegant, and unadorned expression. After a manual harvest, the grapes were directly pressed and fermented with their indigenous yeasts. The resulting wine rested for 5 months in stainless steel tanks. The aging extended for 75 months in the bottle, without the addition of expedition liqueur. The result: a dry, opulent, and unique sparkling wine, whose singular personality has been recognized by the most discerning critics.
