About Cénit Field Blend Clarete Tradición

In the Tierra del Vino de Zamora (Castilla y León), for generations, vintners have planted their vineyards with a natural blend of varieties, without segregating red and white grapes. Thus, diverse, authentic wines were born, a direct reflection of the landscape and a way of understanding the land without artifice.

Inspired by this heritage, the Viñas del Cénit project has revived this ancestral method of winemaking through its Field Blend collection, where the "blend" is determined at the time of planting the vineyard, not in the winery. Within this collection, Cénit Field Blend Clarete Tradición is a gem originating from old vineyards (between 80 and 120 years) in the Zamoran municipality of Villanueva del Campeán. A clarete born at an altitude of 750 metres, on clay soils where tempranillo, garnacha, godello, palomino, and doña blanca coexist. All these varieties are hand-harvested and crafted together, as in the past: whole cluster, traditional pressing, spontaneous fermentation, and aged in French oak barrels for 6 months.

The result? A fresh, flavourful, light clarete with soul, connecting us to the origins of Zamoran viticulture. Cénit Field Blend Clarete Tradición is not a trend: it is a statement of principles. A return to the essential, the authentic, what many call "of old," but today, more than ever, it tastes of the future.
