Château de Béru Chablis Montserre 2023 is a white wine that awakens with a vibrant freshness, akin to the first sea breeze on a sunny day, gently stirring the palate and arousing curiosity. In the glass, it paints a scene of limestone rocks, green lemon, and white flowers, with a delicate saline echo. About Château de Béru Chablis Montserre

Château de Béru Chablis Montserre is a single-variety Chardonnay white wine produced by Château de Béru in the A.O.C. Pommard, in Burgundy, France.

The grapes used to make the Château de Béru Chablis Montserre wine come from a single plot lying on top of a lime plateau at 400 metres above sea level. The grapes are cultivated according to the principles of biodynamic agriculture with the harvest carried out manually. Alcoholic fermentation takes place with native yeasts in stainless steel tanks. The resulting wine ages in stainless steel tanks with its fine lees for 14 to 16 months and without added sulphur.

Château de Béru is a family winery dating back more than 400 years and named after Clos Béru, an enclosed area built by monks in the 13th century with predominantly limestone soils and marine fossils. These are delicate soils that require special care. Athénaïs de Béru, who currently runs the winery, understands this perfectly, so he began working according to the principles of organic and biodynamic agriculture where each harvest is carried out manually and the winemaking process involves as little intervention as possible. This creates wines that are an honest reflection of this exceptional terroir and showcase the qualities and characteristics of the Chardonnay grape in Burgundy.
