About Château de Selle Coeur de Grain Rosé

Château de Selle Coeur de Grain Rosé is a rose wine made with Cabernet Sauvignon, Grenache, Cinsault and Syrah grapes by Domaines Ott. It belongs to the AOC Côtes de Provence.

Domaines Ott includes Câteau de Selle, Clos Mireille and Château Romassan. Its philosophy is based on respecting nature in order to obtain a high quality grape. In 2004 Domaines Ott was acquired by Louis Roeder but it is still run by the Ott family, specifically the fourth generation.

Château de Selle Coeur de Grain Rosé comes from vineyards that are around 20 years old planted in calcareous soils. The harvest is carried out manually, and once in the cellar the bunches are pressed whole, without destemming. The must ferments in French oak vats and is aged in barrels for 6 to 9 months.

The rosés produced by Domaines Ott Coeur de Grain are considered among the best in the world.

2018 Château de Selle Coeur de Grain Rosé 2018 is a fine and floral wine. As it opens up, lemony notes emerge together with those of apricot and peach, and memories of vanilla. On the palate it is lingering, full, rounded and velvety.
