About Còsmic Destí

Còsmic Destí is an organic, biodynamic and natural orange wine made with the Muscat variety by Còsmic Vinyaters in Empordà (Catalonia).

Còsmic Vinyaters is the personal project of Salvador Batlle, a true biodynamic producer whose working philosophy focusses on showcasing the energy of each terrain. He works in two very different parts of Catalonia: Alt Empordà (Girona) and Baix Penedès (Tarragona), and produces natural wines using native varieties that emanate exceptional energy.

Còsmic Destí comes from “la vinya del Joan”, a small eco-certified plot with sandy granitic soils lying about 120 metres above sea level in the town of Capmany, in the Alt Empordà region. These vines are ecologically cultivated according to biodynamic principles and using energetic cleansing techniques and sacred geometry. The grapes are harvested manually and placed in 15 kg boxes.

In the winery, minimal intervention begins. To start with, the Còsmic Destí grapes are macerated whole for 3 weeks, then they spontaneously ferment with native yeasts and finally the wine ages on its lees in stainless steel tanks. It is then bottled without being clarified, filtered or adding sulphites.

Cosmic Destí is the result of destiny itself. This wine is made with minimal intervention, using energy techniques and as a result, it is high quality, full of personality and unique. A white wine with healthy vitality.
 

2019 Còsmic Destí 2019 is an orange wine with pleasant fragrances of orange blossoms, white flowers and notes of peach. On the palate it is medium-bodied, with a lively acidity, an unctuous mid-palate and a persistent finish.
