About Còsmic Vitalitat Petillant

Còsmic Vitalitat Petillant is an ecological, biodynamic and natural sparkling wine made by Còsmic Vinyaters with the Parellada variety in Empordà (Catalonia).

Located in two very different areas of Catalonia, Alt Empordà and Baix Penedès, Còsmic Vinyaters cultivates and vinifies native varieties according to biodynamic principles. The man behind all this work, Salvador Batlle focusses on energy to make his wines. This philosophy of work and life goes beyond reason and the results are natural wines that are full of good energy.

Còsmic Vitalitat Petillant is made mainly with the Parellada variety from 60-year-old vines that are organically cultivated according to strict biodynamic principles. The vineyards are located in Empordà (Girona) and lie at an altitude of 300 and 400 metres. Thanks to the characteristic wind in this area, the Tramuntana, the vines enjoy excellent ventilation. Vine cultivation here focusses on nature and unconventional ideas based on energetic cleansing techniques to grow the healthiest and most natural grapes.

In the winery, the Còsmic Vitalitat Petillant wine is made using the ancient method. The base wine ferments spontaneously with native yeasts and, before the end of the process, it is bottled so that the natural sugar and yeast activity in the bottle comes to an end. The wine is then aged in the bottle and after disgorging, if it is filled at all, it is filled with the same wine.

Còsmic Vitalitat Petillant is a sparkling wine made the old way. It is free from additives and full of all the positive energy from the earth. Sparkling, fresh, fruity and floral.

2020 Còsmic Vitalidad Petillant 2020 is a sparkling wine with aromas of white fruit, floral notes and hints of yeast. On the palate it is fresh, complex and creamy. It has a well integrated bubble with a delicious mineral background.
