Coto de Hayas Tempranillo comes from vineyards that are nearly 30 years in age. The different stages of vinification and production follow conventional methods. The grapes pass through a period of fermentation and maceration, which lasts for 3 weeks. Before being bottled, the wine is then tapped off and pressed.

After the final blend, this wine is aged for four months in American oak barrels.
