About Domaine d'Eole Rosé

Domaine d'Eole Rosé is a rosé wine from the AOC Côtes de Provence made with Grenache, Syrah, Cinsault, Mourvèdre and Counoise  grapes, and produced by Domaine d'Eole.

Domaine d'Eole is located at the foot of the Massif des Alpilles, in the French department of Bouches-du-Rhône. It produces wines in a Mediterranean style under the influence of the Rhone. The winery has cultivated its vineyards organically since 1996 and the yields of their plots are very low, some 30 hectolitres per hectare, thus producing very concentrated and balanced grapes.

The vineyards for Domaine d'Eole Rosé are planted on sand and limestone soils with a high stone content, and are harvested by hand to respect the grapes as much as possible and to make a first selection of the bunches while still in the field.

Once in the winery, the Domaine d'Eole Rosé harvest is completely destemmed and vinified at a low temperature. The final wine ages a little in steel vats to preserve all the freshness and the expression of its fruity aromas.

2020

Domaine d'Eole Rosé 2020 is an aromatic rosé. It exhibits a robust bouquet, redolent of apricot and tart fruit. On the palate, it demonstrates a lingering presence, underscored by saline nuances. Crisp and briny. Delightful tangy notes are complemented by an apricot undertone. The finish is enduring.
2018 Domaine d'Eole Rosé 2018 is a pleasantly fruity wine. On the palate it has a pleasant fresh acidity that is punctuated by notes of banana candy, strawberry jam and peaches.
