Dubl Esse Rosato is a fruity rosé sparkling wine with aromas of red fruit accompanied by notes of ginger and hints of marzipan. On the palate it is fresh, complex and balanced. A wine with fine persistent bubbles in sync with bright acidity, a very elegant creaminess and a mineral finish.

About Dubl Esse Rosato

Feudi di San Gregorio was founded in 1986 with the aim of revitalising Campania’s (Italy) winemaking tradition and promoting its native grape varieties. A visionary approach that has led to the creation of wines that reflect the authentic character of the place and are recognised worldwide. Within a portfolio that includes a variety of red, white and rosé wines that capture the essence of Campania’s diverse landscapes and microclimates, they have revolutionised the region with the creation of sparkling wines using the traditional method under the name Dubl. A courageous endeavour where the best results are guaranteed by following the professional advice of the great Anselme Selosse. A French winemaker and producer known for his artisan approach and unique style of Champagne making, he fell in love with the volcanic terroirs of Irpinia and saw the potential of local varieties for making sparkling wines with secondary fermentation in the bottle.

This is clear to see in Dubl Esse Rosato, a wine made with Aglianico grapes from the volcanic area of Taurasi. These are traditional vines that are cared for in a way that is sustainable and respectful of the environment. The grapes are harvested by hand when they reach optimum ripeness and, once they reach the winery, the best grapes are pressed and the resulting must is fermented in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature. Then the base wine is bottled to begin the second fermentation and remains on lees for 48 months before disgorgement.

The result is Dubl Esse Rosato, a sparkling rosé wine made with all the technique of French champagne and all the potential of the Irpinia terroir. A limited edition with no expedition liqueur added that reveals extraordinary complexity and wonderful minerality.
