About El Vínculo Paraje la Golosa Gran Reserva

El Vínculo Paraje la Golosa Gran Reserva is a red wine produced by the winery El Vínculo, in Campo de Criptana (Ciudad Real), within D.O. La Mancha. El Vínculo is one of the 4 wineries of Familia Fernández Rivera.

The winery El Vínculo is located in a typical building from La Mancha, converted into a modern winery in 1999.They have old Tempranillo vineyards, of the best sites in the area. Therefore, they can make outstanding wines with a limited production, thus becoming a great reference in this area.

El Vínculo Paraje la Golosa Gran Reserva is a red wine made with Tempranillo from vineyards that are over 90 years old located in Pago de la Golosa, at around 700 metres of altitude on soils that are a mixture of clay and sand.

Once the grapes are harvested manually, they are taken to the winery and destemmed before they are transferred to stainless steel deposits. Here, they undergo the maceration and the alcoholic fermentation. After the fermentation, the wine spends 24 months in French oak barrels and remains another 36 months in the bottle before going on the market.

El Vínculo Paraje la Golosa Gran Reserva 2016 is a complex, structured and balanced wine. On the nose, aromas of black fruit with marked notes from its ageing stand out, along with smoked notes, leather and a spicy finish. In the mouth, it is dense, with a long and persistent finish.
