About Els Vinyerons Pregadéu Ancestral 2016

Els Vinyerons Pregadéu Ancestral is an ancestral sparkling wine made with the Xarel·lo variety and produced by Els Vinyerons Vins Naturals in the Penedès.

Els Vinyerons Vins Naturals began with the aim of showing the essence of Penedès in its purest state. In the hands of its winemakers, Amós Bañeres and Alex Ruiz Masach, it produces natural wines made with minimal intervention and without the use of oenological products.

Els Vinyerons Pregadéu Ancestral comes from vineyards planted in clayey-calcareous soil in the Central Penedès area. With the intention of obtaining the maximum expression of the Xarel·lo variety, of the terroir and of the landscape, its producers are committed to a completely respectful approach to winegrowing.

The harvest is carried out manually at its optimum ripening time. In the cellar, Els Vinyerons Pregadéu Ancestral begins alcoholic fermentation in stainless steel tanks with native yeasts, and the fermentation ends in the bottle itself, together with its fine lees, for 18 months.
