Emmerich Knoll Grüner Veltliner Ried Trum Federspiel is a white wine aged on lees made by Emmerich Knoll in Wachau (Lower Austria) with the native Grüner Veltliner variety.
 
If there is one winery that has positioned Wachau as a leading wine region, it is Emmerich Knoll. This is a family project where they have devoted body and soul to making wines in wonderful terroirs, using native varieties and with minimal intervention. Today, with their baroque labels of the Holy Land, they produce fresh, mineral and vibrant wines. 
 
Emmerich Knoll Grüner Veltliner Ried Trum Federspiel comes from vines planted in alluvial soils. This is very steep terrain that is difficult to access with machinery and requires all work to be carried out manually. The team use environmentally-friendly agriculture and organic methods, and the harvest is carried out manually.
 
In the winery, the Emmerich Knoll Grüner Veltliner Ried Trum Federspiel grapes are pressed and the resulting must spontaneously ferments with native yeasts in wooden barrels. It then rests on lees in stainless steel tanks.
