Faustino Crianza 2022 is a classic and approachable Rioja red that blends juiciness and sophistication in every sip. About Faustino Crianza

Faustino Crianza is a red wine from the D.O La Rioja region produced by the Faustino winery. This wine is made using only Tempranillo grapes.

The grapes used to make Faustino Crianza are taken from the 650 hectares of vineyards owned by the winery. These vineyards are situated between the towns of Laguardia and Oyón. The care of the vineyard, as well as the subsequent harvest, are carried out following the teachings of decades of dedication to the world of wine in La Rioja.

The various phases of the vinifaction process and production of this wine are performed using conventional methods. Before being bottled, Faustino Crianza is then aged in american oak barrels for 14 months.

Faustino is one of the most well known and respected wineries from Spain. The two supporting pillars of their work, according to the winery, is the love and respect for nature and the vineyards.

Faustino Crianza 2021 is a ruby-red wine with garnet highlights. On the nose, it stands out for its fragrance of red fruits such as strawberries and raspberries, along with black fruits like blueberries, blackcurrants, and black cherries. These aromas are complemented by sweet hints of vanilla, toffee, and cocoa, thanks to its aging in American oak barrels. On the palate, it offers vibrant acidity, smooth tannins, and a luscious flavour, with a long and balanced finish that leaves sweet notes of confectionery and forest fruits.

Faustino Crianza 2020 greets us with a delightful bouquet, intertwining red fruit notes of strawberries and raspberries with a dark fruit medley of blueberries, currants, and black cherries. These fruity aromas are interwoven with a sweetly spiced essence of vanilla, toffee, and cocoa, courtesy of its maturation in American oak barrels. Upon tasting, its acidity is lively and the tannins are velvety, unfolding a flavor profile of ripe fruit harmoniously complemented by the sweetness of the oak. The finish is well-rounded and balanced, leaving a lingering aftertaste reminiscent of confectionery delights and wild berries.
