About Ganevat J'en Veux Encore

Ganevat J'en Veux Encore is a Vin de France natural red wine made by Anne et Jean-François Ganevat in Jura with the Gamay and Trousseau varieties.
 
Siblings Anne and Jean-François Ganevat are the 14th generation running a family winery in Rotalier, south of Jura (France). Following the principles of biodynamics and minimal intervention, they cultivate 7 hectares of vineyards with 17 local varieties and produce around 40 different wines every vintage. All this work has seen them become a benchmark for new generations of winemakers in the region. 
 
Ganevat is a leader when it comes to organic viticulture, and Ganevat J'en Veux Encore comes from 100% biodynamic vineyards. No chemicals are used and natural herbal preparations are applied to protect the vines. When the grapes reach optimum ripeness, they are manually harvested. 
 
In the winery, the Ganevat J'en Veux Encore grapes ferment spontaneously with native yeasts for a few weeks. The wine then ages for 10 months in 500-litre French oak barrels. Finally, it is bottled without being filtered, clarified or adding sulphites.
 
Made by one of today’s Jura icons, this sulphite-free wine is worth trying. As its name “I want more” suggests, Ganevat J'en Veux Encore is an elegant, silky and fresh wine that will leave you wanting more. 
 
2019

Ganevat J'en Veux Encore 2019 is a smooth red wine with a nose full of red and black fruit accompanied by sweet spicy touches and hints of fresh grass. On the palate it is light with stimulating acidity and a long and persistent finish.
2018 Ganevat J'en Veux Encore 2018 is a supple red wine exuding profound aromas of red and black fruits, sweet hints of sugar, and herbaceous undertones. On the palate, it is dry, light, and invigorating. A mélange of fruit is complemented by a lively acidity and pronounced tannins. The finish is extensive and tantalizing.
