About Glorioso Crianza

Glorioso Crianza is a red wine from the Rioja made by Bodegas Palacio. The Glorioso line was created in 1928 and is Bodegas Palacio's most popular brand. It includes wines made according to the traditional categories in the Rioja (Crianza, Reserva, Gran Reserva), but its ageing in French oak barrels provides the elegance and refinement that the brand is known for.
This wine is made 100% from Tempranillo grapes. The grapes are destemmed and ferment at a controlled temperature, after which they go through the malolactic fermentation and are clarified and racked.
Glorioso Crianza ages in Bordeaux French oak barrels for 12 months. It then remains in the bottle for a further 10 months.
