About Glorioso Selección Especial

Glorioso Selección Especial is a special edition from Bodegas Palacio that brings together a selection of the best Tempranillo grapes from the winery, harvested in the town of Laguardia (Rioja Alavesa)

This winery belongs to Grupo Bodegas Palacio 1894 and is located in the Rioja Alavesa, one of the most privileged areas for producing wine. A know-how committed to emphasising the fruity intensity and ageing in French oak.

To prepare this special edition, a series of vineyards with unique characteristics have been selected. High altitude, clay-calcareous soils and the contrast between the Mediterranean and Atlantic climates present the most suitable conditions for the development of the Tempranillo variety.

The red wine Glorioso Selección Especial is aged for a minimum of 13 months in medium-toasted French oak barrels and refined in the bottle for a minimum of 6 months before going on the market.
