About Gotes del Priorat

Gotes del Priorat is a red wine from the D.O. Priorat made by Portal del Priorat. This winery stands out for its constant dedication to research and innovation that makes its wines known throughout the world.
This wine is made from a blend of Grenache and Carignan from vines of different ages and characteristics, grown organically, respecting the environment of the D.O. Priorat.
It has been aged for 12 months in French oak barrels. It has not been filtered.

2022

Gotes del Priorat 2022 is a red wine that astonishes with its fruity richness. On the nose, aromas of red and black fruits, such as cherries and blackberries, are detected, accompanied by a hint of juicy mango. Upon tasting, there is a blend of freshness and concentration, with jammy notes balanced by a subtle citrus nuance of fresh grapes. It is a wine full of vitality and flavour, perfect for enjoying on any occasion.                      
2021

Gotes del Priorat 2021 beguiles us with its scent of aromatic balsams and a gentle hint of sweet licorice. Upon tasting, its succulent and lively nature is revealed, where velvety tannins give way to a cavalcade of red fruits; cherries and wild blackberries intertwine in a rich embrace. This red wine is a banquet for the senses, providing a true expression of the Priorat terroir.
2020 Gotes del Priorat 2020 is a red wine boasting an evocative bouquet, brimming with cherry and blackberry notes, complemented by a sweet hint of licorice and a refreshing balsamic aroma. On the palate, it captivates with a harmonious balance of fruit, vivacity, and velvety tannins. A succulent red wine, with fruit and balsamic nuances intricately interwoven, it encapsulates the quintessence and distinctive character of the Priorat region.
2013 Powerful. Intense bitter notes and toasted notes, tasty ripe fruit, very powerful and somewhat strong. Long and persistent finish.

A cherry red colour with cardinal coloured rims. Medium robe. Fine tears on the glass.

Aromas of ripe red fruit with quite strong alcoholic notes and toasted notes and spices.
2011 Fresh in the mouth, with intense, bulky attack. Agile and precise flow through the mouth, coating the palate in fruit, balsamic sensations and spices. Good acidity, aromatic and refreshing. Long and persistent finish with intense toasted notes.

Picota cherry colour. Intense, clean and bright. Pretty, fine, slightly tinted tears show on the glass.

Very expressive and intense aromas with a high concentration of fresh and ripe fruit, accompanied by floral notes, aromatic herbs, lightly toasted notes and a delicious mineral background.
2010 This new wine produced by Portal del Priorat is a pleasure of a wine. It has a nice, powerful and voluminous attack with a good presence of fruit, slightly licoriced, along with notes of chocolate and balsamic touches. It has a creamy and velvety mid palate and a good acidity. Its tannins are lightly present. Its very good finish leaves fruity and mineral aromas. A new way to explore the Priorat, enjoying and sharing a good time.

Intense and beautiful cherry red colour with violet edges. Bright and with a high robe. Good thin and unctuous tear.

The intense notes of red fruit stand out among the aromas of Gotes del Priorat. It is released along with herbal aromas and spices provided by the wood (vanilla) on a strong mineral background, highly characteristic of Priorat due to its soil of slate. When it opens up, its aromas, and mainly the spicy notes, gains in intensity and complexity.
