About Gramona Enoteca Brut Nature

Gramona Enoteca Brut Nature is a sparkling wine produce by sparkling wines Gramona in the town of Sant Sadurní d'Anoia, under the certificate of Corpinnat.

This is a very special sparkling wine. Special because of the long ageing process. A long 15 years to refine itself by resting in the heart of the winery, this has the longest ageing process that you can find on the market.

Gramona Enoteca Brut Nature is produced from the varietal Xarel-lo and Macabeo originating from the Paraje Calificado Font de Jui with clay and sandy soils with calcareous rock base.

The Gramona family dates back to more than 150 years on this field, which now produces organic wines.

Once the base wine is produced, it is then bottled and yeast is added to provide a second fermentation. The bottles are corked and left to rest for 160 months.

Once this time has passed, Gramona Enoteca Brut Nature is manually moved to the shaking rack and thus begins the disgorging process in a true artisanal manner.

Gramona Enoteca Brut Nature can be tasted today but has a long way left to go in the bottle. A creamy sparkling wine, pure, very mineral. A world class wine, capable of competing with the best champagnes in the world.

The aromas of the long aging (15 years stacked) also play a leading role, with notes of pastries, roasted nuts, toffee and cocoa. The palate is majestic, with volume and a very fine bubble. A dry, lingering and surprisingly fresh finish.
