About Pujanza

Pujanza is a red wine from the Rioja produced by Bodegas Pujanza. Located in the town of Laguardia, the winery is located in the heart of the Rioja Alavesa.

Hado is made from 100% Tempranillo. The grapes come from old vines about 35 years old, planted at an altitude of 600m on calcareous clay soil.

For processing, a pre-fermentation maceration takes place for 5 days and a subsequent fermentation occurs in stainless steel tanks at a controlled temperature of 24-26ºC. After fermentation, the wine undergoes a maceration with the skins for about 20 days.

Finally, Pujanza is aged for 12 months in French oak barrels.

2020

Pujanza 2020 is an intensely concentrated red wine with a forthright and unambiguous bouquet, accentuating the scents of fresh red fruits such as strawberry and cherry. Upon tasting, it reveals an impressive concentration, delivering a velvety texture and a lingering finish that mirrors its quality and framework. Hado 2020 is perfectly suited for those seeking to delve into robust and straightforward flavors within a red wine.
2012 Powerful and fresh entry, fruity flavours (raspberry, currant). Brisk, with well-defined round tannins. Good acidity and persistent finish.

Cherry red, deep and bright.

Good intensity. Aromas of red and black fruits with spiced notes. Nice and balanced.
2009 Wine with a very intense and wide attack. Its marked notes of fruit are nuanced by the creamy and floral aromas. It shows a very good, lively and refreshing acidity and nice tannins. Its long and persistent finish leaves fresh fruity sensations.

Nice cherry red colour with thin violet edges. Clean and bright wine.

Fresh and expressive aromas, with fresh notes of red fruit and juicy notes of ripe black fruit, mixed with balsamic and floral aromatic aromas on an elegant and refined toasted background.
