About Izadi Larrosa Blanca

Izadi Larrosa Blanca is a young white wine crafted from the garnacha blanca variety within the DOCa Rioja by Izadi.

Nestled within the triangle formed by the villages of Villabuena, Samaniego, and Ábalos in the Rioja Alavesa, Izadi (meaning nature in Basque) is a vinicultural project initiated by a group of entrepreneurial friends to bottle their cherished natural surroundings. It is now part of the esteemed Artevino Family Wineries.

Izadi Larrosa Blanca originates from three meticulously chosen small plots, situated at nearly 800 metres above sea level. The vines are planted in clay-limestone soils, and once the grapes reach their optimal ripeness, they are harvested by hand. 

In the winery, the grapes for Izadi Larrosa Blanca are destemmed and undergo gentle pressing. Subsequently, the obtained must ferments at a controlled temperature in stainless steel tanks. Finally, the wine is clarified and filtered with plant-based protein prior to bottling.

Aiming to highlight the local indigenous varieties, Izadi Larrosa Blanca is a monovarietal of garnacha blanca, offering a fresh, fruity, and highly intense profile.

Izadi Larrosa Blanca 2023 is a wine with intense aromas where white stone fruits are accompanied by pleasant floral notes. Its palate is silky and profound, with a refreshing acidity and very pleasant fresh fruit flavours. A white wine with a delightful mineral touch, very easy to drink.
2022 Izadi Larrosa Blanca 2022 is a white wine with aromas of white and stone fruits on the nose accompanied by floral nuances. On the palate it is very pleasant. It flows with a precise acidity that adds freshness and highlights the intensity of its fruity flavours with delicate mineral touches. A silky and very easy to drink white wine.

2018 Izadi Larrosa Blanca 2018 is a profiled white wine with aromas of white fruit and outstanding floral notes. On the palate it’s fresh, intense and flavorsome. A slightly unctuous wine with good acidity.
