About L'Equilibrista

L'equilibrista is produced from the varieties Syrah, Cariñena and Grenache. The grapes originates from 18-40 year old vines located at 165 meters above sea level.

The Montserrat Mountain protects the vineyards from cold northerly winds, this results in a gentle and milder climate all year round for the grapes.

For the production, one part of the must is fermented in open French barrels and the other part in stainless steel vats. Both production methods are completed at a controlled temperature with regular pump overs.

After this process, L'equilibrista is aged for 14 months in French Allier oak barrels from the coopers Boutes, François Frères and Nadalie.

2013 Powerful and flavoursome attack. Unctuous and juicy on the mid-palate with the main character being the ripe black fruit. Acidity is well balanced and well-integrated tannins. Persistent finish.

Deep cherry red, high robe.

Good aromatic intensity, highlights of red and black fruit in harmony with the citrus aromas. Toasted notes from the ageing phase which nicely round off the wine.
2012 On the palate it is tempting, profound with clear prominence of ripe black red fruits and chocolate.

Picota cherry red colour. Intense and dark.

On the nose the wine is complex, aromas of ripe black and red fruit with citric notes. Also there are wood, vanilla and tobacco notes.
2011 On the palate this wine is tasty with lots of lively fruit. A lively and long finish with nunances of tobacco and vanilla.

An intense cherry colour with violet tones, high-robe.

Elegant and balanced aromas. Intense and clean nuances of blackberries, raspberries and strawberries with touches of cream pastries and notes from its ageing.
2007

On the palate it is tasty, with live fruit. Final live and memories are long where snuff and vanilla.
