La Bruja de Rozas 2024 is a red wine of subtle and elegant character, opening with notes of grapefruit, smoky herbs, and a delicate mineral hint reminiscent of iron and damp earth. On the palate, it is fresh and silky, with an ethereal, almost airy red fruit, supported by fine, chalky tannins that provide tension and precision. About La Bruja de Rozas

La Bruja de Rozas is a red wine crafted in Madrid by Comando G. Comando G is a burgeoning winery with the vision of producing wines from old Garnacha vines. Hence the G in the name. G for Garnacha.

La Bruja de Rozas is a single-variety wine made from the Garnacha grape. The grapes are sourced from three small vineyards with vines aged between 50 and 90 years, with predominantly granitic soil, planted at an altitude of 800-900 meters above sea level. At this elevation, they achieve balanced ripening and produce very fresh wines.

Comando G employs agricultural practices in accordance with biodynamic principles, entirely respectful of the environment. The grapes from each vineyard ferment separately, using indigenous yeasts from the vineyard.

La Bruja de Rozas undergoes aging for 7 months in 500-litre French oak vats.
