About Tinc Set Ancestral

Tinc Set – which in Catalan means "I am thirsty" – is not merely a phrase; it is a whole statement of intent. With this fresh and carefree spirit, data-end="355" data-start="342">Mas Candí introduces this line of wines that are both fun and surprisingly easy to drink.

Ramon Jané Winemaker (Mas Candí), established in 2006 in Les Gunyoles de Avinyonet, right on the doorstep of the Garraf Massif (Penedès), was born from the enthusiasm of Ramón Jané and his team to restore the vineyards that their grandparents had been cultivating since the 17th century. Today, they work the land with respect, in an ecological manner, and with minimal intervention, always seeking the natural balance of their vines.

Devoted advocates of indigenous varieties, such as parellada and xarel·lo, they produce this sparkling wine with grapes grown in clay-limestone soils, free from herbicides and pesticides. All of this is to let the grape speak for itself.

Tinc Set Ancestral is a sparkling wine crafted using the ancestral method. The grapes, chilled to 3-4°C, ferment together with native yeasts until reaching the precise moment for bottling. Fermentation is completed in the bottle over approximately 8 months, endowing it with that natural and lively fizz that we adore.

As a result, they present Tinc Set Ancestral, a sparkling wine that is fruity, dry, refreshing, and exceedingly easy to drink. Perfect for toasting with friends or simply to quench the thirst for something different, honest, and delicious.
